What is a Home Inspection?

Updated: Mar 1, 2023

The paragraph after this one will give you the official description of a Home Inspection as defined by InterNACHI, the world's leading association for home inspectors (which we are a member). This is how Victory Property Inspections will summarize it: We are going to look through your potential property as if our own family was going to live there. We're going to search and investigate and uncover things that our own Father, Mother, Son, Daughter would need to know before spending their hard-earned money. Our findings will uncover potential dangers, improper wiring, water leaks, dangerous levels of radon, and many other items that would cause you to have costly unknown repairs after moving in. Within 24-48 hours we'll have a clear updated report with photos and information to better prepare you to either make your decision and or negotiate your purchase price.

"A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home, often in connection with the sale of that home. Home inspections are usually conducted by a home inspector who has the training and certifications to perform such inspections. The inspector prepares and delivers to the client a written report of findings. The client then uses the knowledge gained to make informed decisions about their pending real estate purchase. The home inspector describes the condition of the home at the time of inspection but does not guarantee future condition, efficiency, or life expectancy of systems or components." - InterNACHI
